In another thread (http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/-1/threadid/62987/scope/posts/Default.aspx) you mentioned planning to integrate the MS ReportViewer control into the Reports module. This is a very interesting project which I was thinking of doing myself, but haven't got round to yet.

It might be useful for you to look at this project, which integrates the Crystal Reports viewer into a module:

I am integrating the MS ReportViewer control into the Reports module. It should support both local (or client-side processed) reports, and reports from a SQL Reporting Services server.

I'm integrating this functionality through a framework I'm developing for "Report Renderers". With this framework, third-party reporting components (such as Crystal Reports) could easily be integrated into the system (and perhaps those 3rd-party developers could provide a DNN Reports Module Renderer as part of their distribution).

 Hi,

we've released a free module which displays crystal reports, on the basis of the article quoted above.

The source code attached was buggy (no functional PA supplied), and the actual implementation a little dirty so we adapted the current documents module to make it store and display reports. Also, the dynamic controls generation is now based on a dynamic controls placeholder instead of raw requests params.

You may download it from the following link:
