Tak: Why don't you contact your local Microsoft office and connect with someone in your area. Start with someone that might be local and involved with ASP.NET. Also, go to local code camps and ask around to see if anyone is using DotNetNuke in your area. I'm sure once you get the ball rolling you will have yourself a user group. Let me know if you need some help with finding someone from Microsoft in your area. I'm friends with a msft employee from New Hampshire.

Also, I noticed that you work for a college. Do you teach web design at your school? Why not start with having a student DNN user group?

In Orlando, FL, I started the group with only a few members and the group has an online community of over a hundred in a short period of time. Good luck!

Thanks guys - some useful info as wells as some pretty sketchy facts :o But I'm keen to promote DNN in this area of France as everyone else seems to be hooked on Joomla which I hate because DNN is so much easier to use.

I'll try and get the Bretagne DNN group activity going ASAP.  Bretagne in English is Brittany and is the north western Celtic corner of France.

Is there any way of promting our DNN Group website directly from this site? I'm thinking SEO type links for DNN Group etc...?

Hi Julian,

please check out Programs > Link Exchange Program

ad "Join a User Group now" (you need to add the members of your group or ask them to join, to get it active).

Cheers from Germany,
