While the new rollout is pretty nice, a few limitations still apply:
  • Once I am a member of a group I cannot browse other groups (at least I cannot seem to find a button / link for that)
  • I cannot become a member of two groups although I am a member of two (German and European)
  • The map is showing hypothetical data. The German usergroup is definitely located in Germany rather than in China

You can browse other user groups by clicking the User Group Search button at the bottom of your user group info.  It's not the most usable placement any longer - with the website changes - but we can definitely look at improving that.

I completely agree that someone should be able to be a member of more than one user group, and this is a fast-growing request.  This is a "feature" that is leftover from the original iterations of the user group module wizard.  While I cannot confirm if or when this will be changed to allow you to be a member of more than one UG, I can tell you that I am a fan of this potential update, and will be working to get this implemented in a newer version.

I am not sure which user group specifically you're having a map issue with, but the first UG in Germany that I found in China (kinda funny) doesn't have an address assigned to it in the group settings.  Is this the same one you're referring to?

Add an address to the UG, and it will likely have a good map location like the rest of the UGs.

I wouldn't expect any updates to this module until sometime after the first of the year.
