Is there a Dotnetnuke compatible solution for detecting Page Refresh from server side code?
I basically don't want a second database insert to happen if a user refreshes the page after submitting a postbase which inserts a record.

I've seen a few solutions, like http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/Detecting_Refresh.aspx but they override the base page class which will not work without modifying the dotnetnuke core.

The latest one I found is http://www.joel.net/code/refresh_capture.aspx but I havn't yet figure out how to get it to work using dotnetnuke.

It would be really nice if there was a IsRefresh() in the Dotnetnuke page base class.

Any help is appreciated.

Should be as simple as this:

If Page.IsPostBack Then

Else

End If

A Page Postback is different than someone clicking on the refresh button of their browser, which is what I want to detect.
