Hi All

 

I am getting following error when drop rating control on my control. It was working prefectly with DNN4.8. But after upgrade to 4.9 it is not working and giving followng error

Error: The control with ID 'RecipeRating_RatingExtender' requires a ScriptManager on the page. The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it.

I am checking for isInstalled and RegisterScript on page load.

 

Please reply asap , as i have delievry in evening and this stops working.

FYI: My update panel and working working fine. I have Ajax controll toolkit installed.

Are you registering the script manager on every load, or only when it is not a postback?

As a stop gap, you could enable "Supports Partial Rendering" inside the control definition.

I am regisrteing Script manager on every  load  and also Support Partial Rendering is enabled.

 I get rid of this problem after using Ajaxtoolkit 3.5 SP1 buut ran in to another hell.

Eveything is working prefect on firefox but things stoped working in IE6 and IE7. Can you please help in resolving this. This has now become a big issue for me

 

Now i have VS2008, .net 3,5 and Ajaxtoolkit 3.5. I am not even able to respond to the events on click of rating. But as i said things are working perfect on firefox.
