Hi everybody, i just wanna find a tutorial on how can i configure dotnetnuke to work with visual studio 2008, .net framework 3.5 and asp.net ajax.

I did install version 4.9 but, when i create a module with starter kit, visual studio doesn't show me the asp.net ajax component.

I hope you can help me!!!

thanks

Francisco:

I'm on day 1 of DNN myself.  I think you are looking for the DNN 5.0 Project.  DNN 4.9 is target at the .NET Framework 2.0.  DNN 5.0 is in a release to public state, but is not currently in production.

I believe you can still use DNN with VS 2008, but it's not specifically designed to leverage .NET 3.0 or 3.5.

According to this thread, http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/160/threadid/264970/scope/posts/Default.aspx

there is a VS 2008 project in the DNN 4.9 source.  Which target the ASP 2.0 Framework.  That was going to be one of my stumbling blocks, as I've only got VS 2008 installed on my development workstation.
