I think I am missing something obvious - but I have done a bunch or searching and haven't seen how I can hook onto the event that occurs when a module instance's action menu delete choice is picked.

Any pointers appreciated.

I did find some code that I implemented - but the delete action event isn't firing my module's view usercontrol.

here are some code snippets...

in Page_Load i have the following:

Dim skin As UI.Skins.Skin = DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.GetParentSkin(Me)If Not skin Is Nothing Then

    skin.RegisterModuleActionEvent(

Me.ModuleId, AddressOf ModuleAction_Click)End If

and then i have the following routine:

Public Sub ModuleAction_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As Entities.Modules.Actions.ActionEventArgs)    If e.Action.CommandName = Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionType.DeleteModule Then

        processDelete()

    End If

End Sub

However the ModuleAction_Click routine is never called when I click on the module's action event.

Thoughts?

There is currently no native module delete event.

One of the reasons for this is that the MODULE itself is not acutally being DELETED - instead its being moved to the RecycleBin - and as such can be restored at any time.
