Environment: VWB 2008, SQL EXp 2008, DNN 5.0.1-Install package

In DNN 4.9.1 I was creating modules and did the Import Module Definition. The aspx would show up in the list, I selected it and then clicked on import control. The new module would show up in the dropdown for adding modules to a page. I would select it, it would be added to the page, and all was right with the world.

With DNN 5.0.1 and performing the exact same steps, the aspx shows up in the import dropdown, I select it and click the import but the module does not show up in the add modules to page dropdown. If I go back and try to import again it errors. I've tested several times with do-nothing tiny 'Hello World' modules but get the same outcome each time.

Has something changed in 5.0.1 in how to import?

Hi Gman,

Did you make any progress with this? I see that there is a bug logged but it hasn't been actioned yet.

Did you have to use a work around in the meantime?

Thanks,

Chris.
