Hi guys ,,

I've problems generating the proper database script to ship with my module ..

i've a DB with four tables with relations in between and about 7 stored proc.

i edited the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file , delete all content and got the tables and stored proc. scripts from Sql server manag . std. generator.. and paste it.

when packaging the module as a package and  re-install it on my machine , i got sql errors and failures when executing the sql script , althought ( with that errors) all the tables and stored proc. are created ( except 1  stored proc. ) ..

please help me figure out what is the problem ?? is there is special sysntax or arrangement in the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file , or there is such tool to generate the final DB script to ship with your module package ??

appreciate it..

Tarek

It would help to know what errors you received . . . also, make sure that you are saving the script file with UTF-8 encoding, not ANSI.

If you want the script to be re-runnable, you need to check for presence of an object before creating it (table, index, constraint) or delete and recreate it (stored procedure, view).
