My hosting is now on the platform of IIS6. As it's a shared hosting, I am not allowed to set MIME type by myself. However, there is an option to upgrade to IIS7. If it's upgrade to II7, is the setting on MIME needed for my Silverlight module development?

Its included in IIS 7.5 but nor standard in all 7.0.

But why nor ask you host to add it to IIS if needed.
