Hello,

when I create a new control in a module, the class inherits from Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase. Now I have to create a new aspx page, and I would like to manage here dnn objects (such as users, groups, and so on). Wich class I have to inherit?

Thank you

I'm afraid I don't really get what you're trying to do, but for starters, if you're making a module, you need an asCx , not an aspx.

To be able to access the DNN objects you mention, you should use the...controller classes you can find (mostly) in DotNetNuke.Entities namespace.

Thank you for your reply. I try to explain better: I have a module (so an ascx file) that is reserved for some few users. I would like to launch a web form in a new window in order to view some reports (these reports are large, so I prefer to use a new window). My problem is that I would like to check user permissions at the form_load of the web form. So I have asked my question. How can I obtain this?

THank you
