Hello, I'm fairly new to DNN, although I have successfully created a few websites using DNN 4.09.01. My problem is I need to create a new site using DNN, which requires a custom page(Module) to search a database for info using multiple options in the search parameters. I haven't developed any modules yet in DNN, and I;m unsure if this is the right direction, as there may be an easier work aroung to add a custom page?

This is my first entry on this forum and any helpful advice would be appreciated.

you need to use a module, maybe one of the available generic 3rd party modules would be of help, e.g. SQLGridSelectedView from www.tressleworks.ca

Hi, I had a look at this module and it doesn't seem to be a valid dnn module. It downloads as a single aspx page, no .ascx or .dll assemblies included? I paid the $10 to download this module, although there is a $25 option to include the source code. I have had a look around on the web without luck for a module. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.  Chris

Chris,

You need to contact them to see what the issue is because that is a good product.  I have a version that I downloaded on 9/20 and it is a regular installable PA zip file.

Chris,

I was curious so I took a look at the site.  He has been having time zone problems with his subscriptions.  Check out this blog of his.  http://www.tressleworks.ca/Blog/tabid/73/EntryId/62/Its-5-oclock-somewhere.aspx

Bottom line, I bet if you go back now, you will find a download submenu off of the module menu where you can download the PA!
