Hi guys,

I have a problem to show my custom module to every pages. The issue is that pages with control keys could not show this module, but pages without control keys can show it.

The following is the example:

http://localhost/dnn/tabid/16/Default.aspx (has no control key by default) : can show this module

http://localhost/dnn/tabid/16/ctl/viewgoalskey/mid/601/Default.aspx (has contrrol key viewgoalskey) : cannot show this module

The purpose of the second url is that I save the view of another user control on the page to a different link, so as user can access directly to this user control on the page without access to the main page. However, my module just shows only on the main page, not on this sub page like this.

Any advice for this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Control keys load ONLY that module or view on the page, nothing else. I don't know of any work arounds for this as it is a basic function of DNN.

You could setup your module to load controls itself, bypassing the CTL keys, that's how most advanced modules work. This requires handling querystring parameters and loading ASCX files dynamically within your module.

Thank you.
