Dear all

i want to pass id between two asxc control exactly like manage role in dnn core than you sea a grid that show all roles and u can click on pen to edit it in a form

how i can pass role id to form to load proper data . i sea the source security role .asx and editrole.ascx but i cant find it how role id pass to editrole.ascx

please assume that i have gird and i want edit in another from not inline edit in grid

very much like to securityroles.ascx and editrole.asdx

I assume that you are asking how to pass parameters between two module controls. The most common method is to pass the key=value pair (such as "id=25")  in the query string when redirecting to the second control. For Michael Washington's tutorial on this approach and using the core NavigateUrl and EditUrl methods and in particular the method overload which accepts a parameter array of key=value pairs to create the url link please take a look here:

Another suggestion is that since the DotNetNuke framework source code, core module source code, and that of DotNetNuke projects in the DotNetNuke Forge is available for download you can look at how controls such as securityroles.ascx and editrole.ascx pass parameters.
