 I was looking forward to seeing DNN done in Asp.Net MVC but as Shaun pointed out in his blog; "DotNetNuke will NOT be migrating to ASP.NET MVC."

I am new to ASP.Net MVC and can't find a solution to do what DNN does so well, hosting multiple sites with one source code.

I have an ASP.Net web forms application that does multi-tenant stuff like so, very similar to what DNN does.

 Global.asax

private void Application_BeginRequest(Object source, EventArgs e)
{

HttpApplication application = (HttpApplication)source;

HttpContext context = application.Context;

string domainName = string.Empty;

// domaName now contains 'example' if application.Request was www.example.com
  domainName
= GetDomainName(application.Request);

// Using domain, get the info for example from the database

object myPortal = // get from database

// Save in context for use on other pages
  context
.Items.Add("PortalSettings", myPortal);
}

I have looked at several examples like http://code.google.com/p/sutekishop/ but am unable to figure it out.

How would I do the same in MVC like DNN does it?
