Hi,
I am trying to find in the source code where do the DNN javascript (such as dnn.js , dnn.xml.js and the web resource .axd) are called in the source code but I just can't find them. Can anyone share some light where are they referenced and when they are inserted in the HTML?

Thanks

it is usually contained in the ascx file of the current module view or a nested control.

The thing is I could find only the dnncore.js registration in PageBase.vb:

' register DNN ClientAPI scripts
            Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptInclude("dnncore", ResolveUrl("~/js/dnncore.js"))

But the other dnn core javascripts I can't. Any idea where are they referenced?

Thank You

Funny you should ask, this is exactly what I've been looking into recently. I don't want to load the extra DNN JS files when I don't need them and it's taken me a while to work out how they get loaded . . . I'll do a post shortly discussing what I've found.

DotNetNuke.UI.Utilities.ClientAPI.RegisterClientReference, part of the DotNetNuke.WebUtility project, which is a separate download from CodePlex.

Regards,
Rhys
