Hi

I am trying to access the Dot Net Nuke membership functionality from an ASP.NET page.

Can anyone point me towards a full working sample of how to do this?

I am having problems validating a user - '
Membership.ValidateUser '

nothing I try seems to work.

Roger: Have a quick read on this MS article on how passwords are stored in database. By default passwordFormat="Encrypted" is set under AspNetSqlMembershipProvider settings in web.config. For Encrypted and Hashed, the settings under machinekey is used for ValidateUser. Ensure the application through which you are trying to authenticate a DNN user has same / similar machinekey and AspNetSqlMembershipProvider sections.
