I have an API controller deriving from DNNApiController.  I want to be able to pull content from a module (maybe even starting at a tab).

I started with something like

var myModule = new DotNetNuke.Entities.Content.Data.DataService().GetContentItemsByModuleId(571);

From there I'm not sure how to get the text out the Module (it is an Html/text) module.  Any help would be great please.  Maybe there is a completley better way.

Thanks in advance!

I figured this out with something like :

var dataReader = new DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.Components.DataProvider().GetAllHtmlText(moduleId);

if you mean getting the html content itseltf, just use the HtmlTextController.GetHtmlText method - if you mean returning it via a serivce request http://inspectorit.com/cms/dotnetnuke... is a good example that should get you started.
