Dear DNN Community,

Do any of you know whether the profanity filter has been improved in the later versions? We are using 07.01.02 and we are noticing the profanity filter does not work on articles. Any thoughts?

the filter is currently applied to core modules only, mainly Journal and Messages.

Other modules need to be enhanced and updated to use it as well.

the filter is simply a new API method that can be applied by any other code and administered via the standard lists functionality - see http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... for more details. As such it's up to platform/3rd party modules if they want to use it - AFAIR only the journal, messaging and user registration modules currently implement it.
