I was working with the skin and noticed some transparency behind the breadcrumb if I changed the body style background image to a solid color.

I notice the .bread_bg style references url(images/bread_bg_gray.png)  and the file doesn't exist in the folder.  There is a bread_bg.png, however.

I couldn't see a Create Issue link on the Gemini tracker. So, I could only post here.

HTH.

AFAIR this has already been logged in the issue tracker.

if you want to submit an issue, please use the Public tracker (2nd from top), the item will be verified and moved accordingly by our QA team.

I did notice, but didn't find it in Gemini so I logged it myself:

Hi Ivan

I came upon the same issue:

  • I was reading "Head First Web Design" (2009)
  • Mentions "Firebug", a Firefox add-in to analyze websites (http://getfirebug.com)
  • Using firebug, I looked at my DNN 4.9.1 basic site
  • Firebug reports: 404 Not Found (in red) for GET bread_bg_gray.png

Firebug provides a detailed headers and response for this request.

Also, a nice time diagram showing how long elements take to load (from live or cache)

The tool can be used to look at any live DNN site -- how many others are missing this file?

This "issue" should be solved in the DNN 4.9.2 skin. And IMO skinning without firebug is impossible.
