Hi,

    In the custom skin development i am using the SIGNIN and the LOGIN skin objects and displaying it based on the authentication status.But once logged in the Logout functionaklity is not working.
 
   When i removed the SIGNIN object the logout functionality is doing perfectly.What would be the reason for this?.Even i changed the logout action to page to a different page, but with no success.

 Please give your suggestions or work arounds.

I have exactly this problem with 5.5.0.

With a LOGIN control at the top and a nice SIGNIN control on the RHS, logging out just does not work.  Even redirecting to /logoff.aspx doesn't log off.

Also - and this could be related - the SIGNIN control is still visible when the user logs in. Surely once they are signed in the control should be hidden; I'm sure I have seen a post somewhere that says that that was the intended behaviour.

Does anyone have any suggestions, as I am battering my head against a brick wall with this one!

me too. having same issue with dnn 5.6. Not sure if i have to reinstall the site..hope not..

Fortunately, I've upgraded from 5.6.0 to 5.6.1 and Yes! it fixed the problem.
