I'm trying to create a skin package based on an existing one. When I install the already existing one from it's zipped package via the Extension Wizard I have no problems. Then I take that same package rename it, change the manifest file information so it creates a different directory just like how I might if I was creating a new skin package. Then I try to install the new skin and it tells me:

A critical error has occurred.
Could not find file 'C:\Projects\DotNetNuke\dnndev551\Install\Temp\q3x2fsg4\license.txt'.

I have all the files in my new skin like the first and have renamed it and adjusted the manifest file's basepath element and the elements that include the skin's name.

Does any one know what the error might be?

Thank you!

I had the same issue and found that when I was zipping the files, the zipping process added an extra top-level directory. Once I created a zip file without this extra folder, it installed without issues. So when you open your zip file, you should directly see your manifest and other files/folders, not a folder containing the manifest and everything else.
