I have a series of forms (pdf) on my website that I would like people to be able to view in the browser.  Lots of browsers have this functionality built into them.  If I manually upload the file to the files section and then place a manual link (in text/html module) this works fine and when you click on a link of one of those files it simply opens in in the browser window to view...  BUT if you upload a pdf into the documents module, when someone clicks on it they can only download it....How do I get rid of the force download part of it...????

Thanks,
Jason

The user should receive a prompt that will ask them if they would like to "open" or "Save" the file.  If the user in the past has told their internet browser to not ask for this type of file they wouldn't get the option.

If you click "Download" link, you will get the save/open dialog, if you click the title, the browser is instructed to show the file inline, if possible (but browsers can choose to interpret this however they like).

How would one tell their browser to open PDFs in browser? When our users go to any other page that has PDFs on it, the PDFs open in the browser, but not in a DotNetNuke created page. This leads me to believe that DotNetNuke pages are different from any other web page when it comes to opening PDFs. Is there a setting that needs to be changed if we want PDFs to open in the user’s browser?

When I click the document link it opens the pdf up in a separate browser.  I would have expected it to give me the option to open the file or save the file with the 'download' link forcing a download as opposed to asking whether to open or save.
