Hello,

In my document module, I have some documents which are on an external server. Consequently, I use the URL
In such case, the "Size field" show: "unknown"
Is there any possibility to force the size to display (I have searched in the table to update this manually, but I have not find).

Is there a possibility to show the size for URL-LINKED document ??

Otherwise, I thought to use the field "Description" to display the size. But I would like to rename the field "Description". Is it possible ?
(I have full access to my table).

For rename "Drescription":

  1. Go to host --> Languages
  2. Language Editor
  3. Go to "Local Resources", "Desktop Modules", "Documents", "App_LocalResources"
  4. Rename "Description.Header"

It is not a beautiful solution but it is fast, moreover the modification has effect on all the modules “Documents”.

you can use the language editor in admin menu (per portal) or host menu ("host" scope, for all portals) - or you can use userDefinedTable module, if you need to enter fize manually anyway.
