Hi Guys,

Using DotNetNuke Documents 3.01.05

The permissions seem to work properly if I specify URL's for each document, but if some of the documents are of the

File type, that is pointing to a file within the portal, they do not display unless the user is Administrator.

I'd like for all registered users to see all the documents within the list, but even when checking the registered users box in the permissions, only the items of URL type are displayed.

All the other modules on the same page react predictably with respect to permissions.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Don Rasmussen

You just need to set "view" rights in file manager for the folder the files (documents) are in.  If it doesn't seem to work, do an application recycle, the core may be caching folder permissions.
