Using Documents I added 2 document records each time uploading same file "cv.pdf" from my local drive. My problem is that, uploading a file with the same name as an existing file overwrites the file on web file folder.
Is this a bug or desired scenario?

This behavior is dictated by the DotNetNuke UrlControl which is used for the file upload.  It does appear to be by design, however, I know that not all versions of DNN allow the upload to overwrite.  Which version of DNN are you using?
