Site works fine for all users on network except one machine.  When opening or download documents, the application launches and the document is empty.  I have logged on as administrator and still get same results only on this machine.  I have turned off firewall, antivirus and spysweeper.  No change.  I set IE back to default settings - no change.  I am sure it is a setting on this machine, but I do not know where else to look.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running 4.3.6 DNN and the document module is 3.1.05

Thank you,

Mike

Mike,

My feeling says its probably the MS Word application itself that is doing this for some reason.... what version of MS Word is this machine running? Is there an option to reinstall word? You may be able to play around with its settings and figure out what is going on, but reinstalling it might be faster :)

good luck!

I would tend to agree with Ian on this one.

Otherwise, you might check to see if the .doc extension is set to auto open in word.  if so you could try turning off the setting.  However, I cannot remember where you go to get to it.

There is a post here in this forum that explains it, but I just campt remember.
