Hi,

I have a Doc module [4.0.0] installed with a number of documents in it.

Each Document has a Sort index [100,200,300 etc.. - the gaps to allow for intermediary files to be inserted at a leter time....]

I have added a sort index [ascending] to the module.

It doesn't work.......

Any suggestions?

[Installed DNN: 4.8.2]

Duncan,

I'm sorry but this is an issue that was introducted with the new version of the module.

At the current time I am unaware of an ETA for resolution.

Thanks for the update Mitch.  Hopefully whle that  issue is resolved, the ability to change the precendence or the sorts will be added.

Duncan,  I really needed to control this as well.  There is a work around if your willing to hack the stored procedure.

Goto: <databasename>\Programmability\Stored Procedures
Modify: GetDocument

The last line states 'Order by Documents.Title'

Change that to 'Order by Documents.SortOrderIndex'

This should resolve your issue.

You can modify the Order By to fit your sort needs.  For Example 'ORDER by Documents.Category asc, Documents.Title asc'
