Why is there no Document.ascx.vb packaged with the so called "source code"? I thought DNN was suppost to be "open source".

I really wish people would take a moment to look into something before making themselves look completely ignorant. DotNetNuke is open source, you just have to make sure you have the right download, or download additional modules source code as you need them from the seperate project pages.

Considering I have downloaded the 4.0.2 install and source, 3.2.2 source and also the module itself and none of them have the Document.ascx.vb document, i guess i must be IGNORANT.  So since I'm so IGNORANT could you please provide me with a link that has the file or explain to me why it is not included with the source code. That would be helpful.

Thank you.

I guess my response was offensive and looking at it now I agree but...

Ignorance is questioning the entire project simply because it is not evident to you why something is a certain way. I don't understand why you couldn't make a simple post asking where the source is instead of questioning the project. As I said in my previous post, each module has a project where you can download source from. In this case, you are going to have problems with the Documents module source w/ 4.0.2 because the transition from framework 1.1 to 2.0 has not been made for projects. What this means to you is you will either need to develop w/ 3.2.2 and the module on 1.1 framework or you will need to convert the project to 2.0 yourself. Either way, the project's download page is where you need to look.

Thank you for your help. And your are right I should have just posted the question but at the time I was frustrated after trying to find the code.
