Hi I am new to DotNetNuke

Successfuly installed DNN with the help of this forum members.

Now my problem is to restrict users while downloading a particular document

I am trying both Documents module as well as Repository module.

Any one there got with similar kind of issue before......? please lend a hand if any one has idea regarding same issue.

Here I am giving the problem technically for more clarity

Here is what we want:

1.    There are two sections: project specific docs and company docs.

2.    Only people in the project are allowed to add to the project docs.

3.    Anybody in the company can add company docs.

4.    Anybody in the company can read company docs. They can even add comments/update them/version them and so on.

5.    Anybody in the project can do likewise for the project docs.

ThanX,

        Jaya.

I'd suggest you just make two instances of the documents module - one for project documents, and one for company documents, and set permissions in the settings for each module.
