Hello everybody,

I just started using DotNetNuke and everything seems to work fine made new skins, installed new modules without any problems until i tried to install the documents module(Documents_04.01.00_Install.resources). Before I installed it on the webserver I installed it on a localhost without problems. Then i tried to install the module on the webserver, everything went fine until I wanted to add the module to the page. This gave me the following error:

Error: Documents is unavailable
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.SqlDataProvider.GetDocumentsSettings(Int32 ModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.DocumentController.GetDocumentsSettings(Int32 ModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.Document.LoadSettings() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.Document.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

When i went to the page properties it gave me the following error:

Error: Documents is unavailable
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.SqlDataProvider.GetDocumentsSettings(Int32 ModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.DocumentController.GetDocumentsSettings(Int32 ModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.EditDocumentsSettings.LoadSettings() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I added two attachments to this post to show the errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

In your web.config did you set both connection strings to the proper values?  (The one in ConnectionStrings as well as the one in AppSettings)
