Let me help you out.

1.  DotNetNuke will always be free.  ;)
2.  This module (like most) not updated in over a year.
3.  DNN buys Xepient Document module.
4.  See #1, Professional Edition ($2k and you only get to use if you pay the fee each year) gets the Xepient Document module.
5.  Obvious but Snowcovered no longer has the document module.
6.  See #2.

I've been around here a long time.   The only thing that changes is the fee.... the one thing that was never supposed to change.

I have uploaded a new beta version of the documents module on CodePlex which addresses this issue.  I'll be submitting this module to the Release Tracker this week.

Brian:

I also have been around here a long time and know that DotNetNuke Professional has no bearing on whether the Documents Project team decides to release a new update or not.  The reality is that community members are passionate for a while and do a lot of work and then life happens, their priorities change and they move on.  We are working with the teams to re-invigorate the ones that make the most sense.

There are lots of options on DotNetNuke for simple document management, including the Forms and List module (which I actually like better since it is more flexibile than Documents module).  If the Documents module is not meeting your present needs then maybe a module like Form & List which has a more active team would be a better choice.

Hi.
I downloaded and added "Documents 04.01.02 Install" to my DNN 05.06.02 (144) Community edition.
http://dnndocuments.codeplex.com/releases/view/62649

But it still dont let the default folder to be the specified default folder whenever I have and A or a in the foldername. I can not change and exclude a:s from the folder.

Does anyone have a fix for this to send me?
Thx

Hi.
Can you please point me in the right direction for the solution?
I have tested the forms and list module and think its great. I havent seen any default folder setting there and would really like it to work in Documents folder.

I have installed http://dnndocuments.codeplex.com/releases/view/62649 / Documents 04.01.02 Install  but dont get default folder to work anyway when there is a:s in it.

Thx. Patrik.

Patrik,

I'm trying to get this issue resolved for the next Documents Module release which I am working on at the moment.

I'm hoping to submit to the tracker in the next few days.
