I had a look at http://www.pilgrimucc-durham.org/PastorsMessages/tabid/4249/Default.aspx, and as far as I can tell, the section with the PDFs is an instance of the links module, not the documents module?

I just wanted to bump this up. There is a problem with DNN and linkclick for opening PDF files. Since a direct link to the PDF using the full path works just fine the conclusion is the problem is in DNN, not in Adobe. I have no trouble on any other site opening PDF documents.

I will have to say that this is a pretty big bug. If users can't open PDF files on any DNN site that's bad news!!!!!! We need a patch ASAP. I'd be glad to help test, troubleshoot - just let me know.

Can you please do a test for me?  Browse to http://www.inventua.com/resources-downloads.content and pick one of the brochures, and see if it opens?

FYI: I've posted a message in the core forums asking core team members to look at this issue - the download code is part of the core.

Actually, the links on that page were inserted using the Text/HTML module and the FCK editor.  However, they exhibit the same symptoms and link structure as a link created with the documents module.

I visited your site and the symptoms there were identical to what others have reported.  The blank white page, file won't open, eventually it locked up.
