I have a DNN v3.3.4 site with the Document module v03.01.05. It works fine without SSL. When I switched to SSL and clicked on a Word or Excel document link to download, I received a pop-up window with this message:

Internet Explorer cannot download Default.aspx from zzz.mydomainname.com.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

Please help!

Try this

            Response.Clear()
            Response.ClearHeaders()
            Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment;filename=Export.csv")
            Response.Charset = ""
            Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.xls"

Anyone have any ideas about this one???

We have the same problem.  Running DNN 4.3.4.  NON ssl development version downloaded files fine, once we moved the site over to a new server and applied ssl security files are not downloading.  Microsoft Doc types are fine, mainly problems with .pdf and .zip.

Help!
