Hello,

Newcomer to the DNN system, really loving it so far. One issue though, the Documents module doesn't work for me at all. I've uploaded documents varying in both size and format. They seem to upload fine and I can confirm the file was placed where it should be; however, when I click on the file to download/open I receive "The page cannot be displayed" error. Not sure what else I can check. Hoping you could provide some insight.

Can anyone provide me with something to try? This is for the company's Intranet site and this module is essential for the staff.

Just a quick update, the message I receive is "Page can not be found". I've also tried using the File Manager to upload to file instead from within the module, but to no avail.

Hello Anthony,

The URL looks like:

http://www.website.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=GozJ8OEnUPE%3d&tabid=107&mid=558

One thing I did notice this morning is that the file LinkClick.aspx does not exist. Not sure if this is intended or not. Thank you for your help.

I'm also experiencing a simlar problem. Not too sure where the probelm lies. I'm using Version 2 ASP. NET Framework, with VS/SQL Server 2005, Internet Explorer 7.

When I click on the Document I have uploaded I see the progress bar at the bottom of the page along with the message

"Waiting for http://localhost/DonNetNuke/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=a%2bLeThpSpdw%3d&tabid=75&mid=403"
