Hello all,

I am using the documents module to display files that registered users can download from my site.
At this moment the visibility of the module is set so only registered users can see the documents.
I would like the documents to be visible to unregistered users as well (without download link of course).
Is there a way to do this with the documents module, or do I need a module from someone else (and if so,
can you suggest a module).

Hi,

I have basically the same question but different problem.

We added the module and registered users can see the module but not the files. Can the files be visible for registered users only? if not then same question as Robert, Do I need a different module and if so do you have any suggestions?

Robert:  The current version of the module only shows files that the logged-on user can download.  But I'm thinking about adding an option to make it work the way you described...

Ruudc:  You can do this by setting appropriate permissions on the folder that the files are in (using the File Manager in the Admin menu).
