Hi all,

I am just working on a module for DNN05.06.01 showing some data in a RadGrid-Control from Telerik. this is the free version from DNN.
My first problem was that I got no designer for the new telerik controls with the DNN05.06.01. I had a look at codeplex in the SourceControl: Codeplex-DotNetNuke-SourceControl and recognized that in newer checked in versions of DNN there is a "Telerik.Web.Design.dll" (which I need for editing the controls in my *.aspx -page to view the designer). I think the core-team missed to add this file to the DNN05.06.01 release.

So I downloaded this two ("telerik.web.design.dll", "telerik.web.ui.dll") and added it to my webpage-project.
Now I am getting some errors that this version of Telerik-controls only work with DNN.
For your information Iam developing modules in the WAP-style and do not have every module in the same project as the DNN.
As you can see on the Screenshot below the telerik control wants to add some entries into a web.config placed in my Modulefolder and not in the DNN standard web.config.

It would be great if some one can have a look at this issue and help me getting the controls work for my module in VS2008 in design-mode.

best regards

Marc

Hi all,

I just solved the problem. It was my fault to set the outputpath of the Project to "\bin" and copied the assambly via postscript to the right DotNetNuke-bin path. The outputpath has to be "..\..\bin".

best regards, marc
