Out of intrest, currently with the ctp i can't seem to find a way to reproduce http://www.activesocial.com/users/will-m profiles page. As i have never used any of the active social modules is there a list of current modules included in the ctp. So far i have loaded the Jornal, Social Groups,Social Messaging but can't seem to see the modules like in wills profile. Anyone who has used AS be able to share how to setup the pages so i can more acuratly test.

Note: At present in CTP1 the main social elements are the journal and the enhanced profile visibility - both of these are covered at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/DotNetNuke-6-2-Developer-Quick-Start.aspx . the target with CTP2 is to include the ful social messaging and social groups capabilities.

There is not a direct 1-to-1 match between activesocial and the social elements in DotNetNuke from a module perspective as we're able to make core enhancements and Will (in his activemodules days) had to workaround the core/add new elements e.g. Activesocial had a social groups capability but it was it's own dedicated database table etc., whereas we're going to simply extend the current security role to support social metadata - this has the added advantage of allowing social groups to automatically avail of any security role capabilities (such as expiry, RSVP etc.) automatically.

Cool, Hopefully in the next ctp we'll see more features, so far looking good. Any news on Active forums also or is this going to co inside with the release of 6.2 also?

its on an independant path so will be released when it's ready -my understanding is that the code is finished and it's just the database migration scripts that are being tested. I expect it out before the final 6.2.0 release
