I was testing some of my old modules on DNN 7 and noticed that the edit option (The little pencil icon) was missing from them. I know I added some things like Edit Content or Configuration. Is there a new way to add Module Actions now in 7.0?

We haven't made any changes - and haven't noted anything with our own actions. It is important to note that in order to see any Module Actions the page must be in Edit mode.

Can you log an issue in Gemini (httpsupport.dotnetnuke.com) and add some screen shots so it is clear.

I am in edit mode and I can still see HTML Module's Module Action (The Edit Content), but not mine. I'll register and provide a screenshot.

Hi Charles,

I think this is a slight change from previous versions - in DNN 6, I had custom modules with things like "Add Game", Add League" etc. on PokerDIY. These were always visible with the Manage control panel and there was not this concept of having to put the whole page into "Edit Mode".

In reality, in my case, my users are NOT Module Editors or Page Editors and therefore the Edit Mode Control Panel means nothing to them (this is more of a CMS idea). So basically I think with DNN 7 I have to move all my "Add Items" out of the Module Actions as I don't want to have to show the control panel at the top. Am I understanding this correclty?
