I get the following error when I try to upgrade from CTP5 to CTP6. Other upgrades worked without a hitch. Retrying the upgrade gives the same error. Any thoughts on how I can get past this?

30% ERROR occured - Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Packages.PackageController.DeleteExtensionPackage(PackageInfo package) at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.UpgradeToVersion8006() at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.UpgradeApplication(String providerPath, Version version, Boolean writeFeedback)

based on the location it would suggest this piece of code is at fault:

 

  var package = PackageController.Instance.GetExtensionPackage(-1, p => p.Name == "DotNetNuke.Vendors");

            PackageController.Instance.DeleteExtensionPackage(package);

 

            package = PackageController.Instance.GetExtensionPackage(-1, p => p.Name == "DotNetNuke.SiteLog");

            PackageController.Instance.DeleteExtensionPackage(package);

 Clearly that code should check if package is null first (i.e. be written defensively), but at a guess one or other of those extensions is missing hence the issue
