Hi

i have just installed DNN using the Starter Kit, now i would like to create parent/child portals and i have been asked to provide my domain name, SMTP etc. My question however is can i be able to create a parent portal if i dont have a registered domain, what am i supposed to do, pliz help as i my new to DNN

if you're just testing locally on your machine, you can use the hosts file - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/228760
