 Hi Guys,

What I'm trying to do sounds like it should be pretty simple. I'm trying to find out what the url is for a file that I uploaded with the file manager. I want to be able to type in the address in firefox and show that file exclusively. This works for most of my files in the file manager such as the .jpg and .swf files. It looks like "http://www.site.com/Portals/4/picture.jpg" and it will come up with the picture.

For some reason it's not working with the .xml or .mp3 files. It says file not found when I type "http://www.site.com/Portals/4/file.xml" in the browser. I'm wondering if this is a security setting that I have to change?

I do know that all of the files in question have been uploaded to the Portal Root.

Let me know if I can further clarify anything and thank you so much for your help!

Are you sure the files got uploaded correctly?

Do you have XML and MP3 as allowable upload extensions on the HOST/Host Settings page?

I'm pretty sure they got uploaded correctly. They're showing up in the file manager along with the other files. Yeah XML and MP3 are listed as allowable upload extensions.
