I have recently taken over responsibilities of modifying content on a clients Website. It was built with DotNetNuke but I have never used it and am learning it as I go. Unfortunately there is no one at the company familiar with DNN so I do not have any assistance in my learning.

They are a shoe resoling company and for pages featuring information about specific shoes there is a module that displays pricing for repairs. When editing the module there is a drop down menu marked with "Select a Category" that I can scroll through and select a different category of shoe and it changes the pricing information on the page to go along with that category.

My situation is that I need to add new categories to this drop down menu that will display pricing information unique to that category. So my question is how do I go about adding new categories to this drop down menu?

Any assistance in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately without knowing what module you are using that is going to be a hard question to answer.

To figure out what module it is you can go to the Module Settings (there should be an actions menu when you are in EDIT mode next to the module (module title) and if you mouse over that menu you should find a settings option. On the module settings page one of the first things should be the type of module it is (this is on newer versions of DNN, older versions I don't believe display the type of module).

If you can see what module it is, please post and that will possibly help someone to answer your questions

The version of DNN this Website is using is 04.08.02.

I'm guessing this version is too old as I don't see a module name in the location described. Thanks.

Okay. I have reason to believe now that the module is ListX if that makes any sense.
