Patrick,

Have you considered creating a forge project? You can host the code on CodePlex and it will become discoverable through the Forge Page.

I'm another trying to cross into the unfamiliar territory of ASP.NET/DotNetNuke after 2 years of working exclusively with Joomla (and 6 months before that of Drupal), although I'm no kind of programmer whatsoever.  I think I can handle having separate pages for each article, since my main website (on Linux/Joomla) is already about 90% setup that way, but my main quandary is regarding that aspect that in Joomla is called "module positions" -- there are various ways of revealing those positions in Joomla, from extensions to a simple command-line ? dealie in the URL, but is there any way of revealing those positions/page locations, in DNN?

To wit: I like to begin my template designs with Artisteer, which is useful for both Joomla and DNN as well as other CMSs and blogs; in the header, I use the simple text header basically as a placeholder for a graphic logo, which I put in place by editing the code after exporting from Artisteer; in Joomla, I then like to take one of the defined module positions, usually banner1, and place it on the right-hand side of the header -- again, a manual edit, just moving that bit of code from one area of the page to another -- but I have no real idea how to accomplish this in DNN, especially since I don't know how to reveal the positions already pre-defined, to know if one of those is suitable or if I should create a new one -- I don't know how DNN handles this issue of "module position."

Any pointers?

Thx!!

Andria
