Hi,

I want to know that how User object get filled when edit icon is clicked. As edit icon contains the url (containing portal Id, module Id, user Id, ctl, current page, language &) to which it will redirect. I want to know What method is called and from where to populate user information in controls?

I have dnn482 with source code. When try to identify the code just get lost. The DNN User Account have the (http://localhost/DNN482/Admin/UserAccounts/tabid/42/ctl/Edit/mid/358/UserId/3/filter/I/currentpage/1/language/en-US/Default.aspx) url created for edit icon button.

can you help in finding the exact code as i need to redirect it manually, through javascript?

You'll need to look in the code for the exact method it's using for the call. The source for that page has lots of spots for security so the correct people see the correct things. Just curious, why do you want to use a different way to get to this spot. Users can get to their own profile by clicking their name at the top and you can give other people access to this page if you need them to update other users accounts.
