Hello, I just got a job with a company in town doing part time maintenance on their website. I got the job through a friend who told them I have HTML, CSS, Java, JSP, etc knowledge. The people that I was talking to at the company have no idea what DotNetNuke is and neither do I, although I told them I'd figure it out. I've been reading up a little bit, (I only got the job yesterday) and I should be able to figure most of it out.

But before i do anything I need to know how to make a copy of the page I'm editing so I can work on it without making changes in real time. This is probably the way it works already but I'm too scared of messing something up that I haven't tried anything!

Sorry for the badly worded and long winded question, If somebody could show me where to start that would be great thanks!

create a new page (use add page in control panel when logged in as admin user) and use "copy module from ..." option, copying all modules from the original page. if this option is not provided for a module, this module does not provide duplication support for content (iPortable interface), and you may create a blank new instance instead.

Cheers from Germany,
