Folks,

I am new to DNN. I have a few home-made videos that I wish to share with my friends. One of the posters suggested to buy 3rd party module to show videos in DNN. Does DNN not support videos out of the box?

The videos are in wmv format but I can change them to whatever format DNN can support.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,
Peter

if you want to show individual videos, you may use richtext editor in nearly any module to display flash or Media module for a number of other file formats. if you want to create a fully extended media gallery though, I suggest checking for a 3rd party module.

Sebastian,

Thank you for your help.

So, if I use the "blog" module, I should be able to embed video as well as have my friends comment on it. Is this right? This is just the way I wanted.

Regards,
Peter
