Is it possible to use the DNN Blog module and have your blog post be sent to:
Facebook
Twitter (I know this one works with the version of the blog I have installed version 4.0)

It is definitely possible if you want to make some minor changes to the module.  Though, you'd be forking it.  If you do choose to do this, I would suggest contributing your changes back to the module team for inclusion into the next version, through the Blog Module Issue Tracker.

If you're not willing or able to modify the module, there are services out there that will allow you to do something similar using either your twitter account (which the module already interfaces with), or your RSS feed from the module.
