Gents,
trying to remain in the bounds of the posting guidelines.

I am building a web site called www.crimesagainstfathers.com which will expose, name and shame lawyers, judges, magistrates etc that commit a crime against a father via the family law courts. All the men here know how bad they are.

Well I have done something about this situation.

I am a long time DNN user but have not been very into it of late (acrimonious divorce that destroyed my company).

What I am looking for is an application or set of apps to buy that will allow the storage of names, companies worked for, addresses, photos and all that stuff for corrupt lawyers, magistrates, judges etc. I also need it to be highly searchable etc. We are going to start with Australia but might make it international.

There is not an 'out of the box' module or app that I know about....then again, I have not searched for such recently. I figure someone might have one of these by now or something very similar.

If anyone can be so kind as to give me a pointer to one or two such apps I'd be really keen. If there is a dev house that has something similar that they want to sell me and further develop please contact me at peter@peternolan.com.

I do not want to discuss anything 'political' around here so any men who want to talk to me re family law contact me at peter@peternolan.com. Since tech is 99%+ men most guys here are affected by family law and you might want to discuss with me what I have done.

Best Regards Peter

Peter, I suggest you should abstract your requirements from real world details to "business objects", i.e. data sets and required operations. next look for a solution (or post your results for assistance).

Hi Sebastian,
I was kind of hoping that someone had an application that would be suitable that I could just buy. Something like a HR recording app where you could put photos, documents, reports etc onto the site to 'name and shame' these criminals committing so many crimes against fathers.

One other question. In the absence of such an app I'm going to start out with just forums.

But in 5.x the forums do not seem to be a part of the base package in the community versions any more. I guess I have to go find them and install them as extras. It's been a couple of years since I did all this.

Best Regards Peter

Oops....I tried installing some more modules to give myself some extras to put onto the site and I installed this one: Chat_01.00.01_Install.zip

Only to get the message below. Um...can someone please point me to the regular fix for this? There must be one. Thanks. Peter.

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web> </configuration>

Best Regards Peter

Got past this but had more problems....so I moved my problems with install post over to the installation forum.

I'm kind of surprised no-one has an app for something like HR.....I'll hunt around snowcovered and see what I see there.

Best Regards Peter
