Hi all

Does anyone please know of a tutorial on using the ViewProfile module. I couldn't find anything in any of the books I've got, or online and there's only a couple of sentences about it in the manual. I realise that it's probably extremely simple, but I prefer an example to follow rather than mess with it. :)

 Have you looked at the online manual here?  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Support/Online-Manual.aspx
 
 Look in Advanced Site Management / User Accounts / Profile Properties.  See also User Settings.
 
 There may not be any other documentation. I did a search for blogs on the subject without success.
 
 I am sure that if you post specific questions people here will help.

Hi,

I understood that the ViewProfile module shows a quick view of your own profile. But is it possible for user A to see User B profile by viewing the ViewProfile module? I am asking this question because my goal is to enable the users communication in my site. Is is super to have the messaging module built- in, but I want the users to be able to see each other, not only validating username.

Hi,

I want to ask whether it is possible to use the ViewProfile module not only to see your own profile, but also to see the other users profile. And also when I choose the 'Default Profile Visibility Mode' in the User Accounts module to be true, where does this action changes the profile visibility?
